    Just a heads-up; some of the offerings may only be available for 24 hours - and end according to the time-zone the site is in that is offering them. (This is especially true for the software offerings, with no 2nd. chance. And usually, the software offered need to be registered the same day it is offered...)

    At the software site 'chip' for today's freebie (3 Dec) for simulator game Subway Vol 1, I have registered at the site and everything works fine up to the point when I press the green jetzt kaufen (buy) button at the end of the card process, this appears:  

    Na toll! Jetzt hast du den Shop kaputt gemacht

    Hoppla – es ist ein Fehler aufgetreten. (500)

    Translated it means I have broken the shop?  surprise

     

    I have done this several times.    The link https://www.mcgame.com/de/checkout/success   which states success.  But indeed it's not!

    They said the side with the download was under heavy traffic this morning, so try it again and don't forget to enter the code ( chip-ubahn) to get the simulation for free.

    Thanks!  I have now copied and pasted the link ends with 'success' to see what will happen this way.  And there I got it finally.  But it seems the site is still under heavy traffic as when I click on 'download now' button it hangs forever.  I see I still have 2 older items under my order history with download options.  That was for last year.  Can't remember if I have actually downloaded them.  Hope I can still get them to work.  Will try download later when traffic is better.

    For today's (5th) software freebie  (Incomedia WebSite X5) I have followed all steps after registration/activating at site.  I even got an licence key.  The program seems working (even my name is showing up on bottom of interface, which means it's registered) but strangely I never got an email to confirm and even needed to use the provided key. surprise  I have an account there.  I hope this is in fact the full version.  It's always some schlep to download/install these free softwares since many must be done soon.  Not that I can complain at all since it's free and I thank these people for offering their products! angel

    I have been trying to register for Active Rendering, they say they will send me an email to complete the process, but it never comes through.  I have tried a couple different email adresses.  Anyone else have problems with this?

    Same here and if I try to get a new email, I got the note, that this email is allready in use from another user. -.-

    Like the others, I have tried registering at 3d-board, and revceived the note that they sent me an e-mail  I never received it). I tried several e-mail addresses unsuccessfully.  I also send two messages through their 'contact' link and have not gotten a response.

    I was just thinking I am the only one having this problem to register at 3d-board.  Technically I am registered there as my name appears as logged in but to use full page functionality needs the activation code.  Have twice asked for new code. Have just send them also a message via contact but it seems I will not get a response as @fleetpp is also not getting feedback. frown

    That means you have bought all the Freebies that are there at the moment -  if you log out and look at the page, you can see them.

    Can anyone help me please?  I have installed the 'recordify' software which CHIP offers today 18 Dec, restarted the computer when told, open the recordify from desktop but have no idea of how to get it registered.  On the Chip link it shows how to register it on page 12 (Kostenlose freischaltung) (pictures), but I can't find any such option!  How do I get to that menu part as shown on page 12 in order to register the software? frown

    And is this also a download and install/register the same day offer?  Obviously there is nothing in my email as I can't get to register part to enter my email.
